Milky Way over Lower Twin Lake, WY
Milky Way over Lower Twin Lake, WY
I made this image on a perfectly clear and moonless night while camping next to Lower Twin Lake in the Medicine Bow National Forest of Wyoming. I knew it would be late in the night when the Milky Way would be at it’s highest point, so at 2am, I crawled out of my tent and took my camera down to the water’s edge. To capture the entire Milky Way, I took 18 separate photos of the night sky and then stitched them all together to make this one massive image.
These prints are loose prints, and require matting and framing to be hung on your wall as a finished piece, which makes them an ideal choice for those who want to select and customize their framing at a frame shop of their choice. The prints are of the highest archival quality and have a 100 year longevity under normal display conditions. Prints are shipped flat or rolled in a tube, depending on the size.
